Most smart tests forget you have a body at all. BQ is the one that does not.

BQ looks at how well your body is running. Your heart. Your blood. Your eyes and ears. Your sleep. Your growing.

How well you move, your sports and your skill, is a different score called MQ. BQ is not what your body can do. It is the shape the machine is in.

The big idea: BQ does not give you one health number. It scores each part on its own, so you can see which one needs help.

For each thing it measures, BQ is not asking "pass or fail?" It asks where your number lands on the healthy range for someone your age.

  • Right in the middle of that range scores high.
  • Inside the range but off to one side scores a little lower.
  • Outside the range, but not scary, scores lower still.
  • Far enough out that you should see a doctor scores low.

And if a number looks like a real medical problem, it is taken out of the score and shown to a real person. It never counts as a zero you failed.

Your BQ is the average of the parts you actually measured, and the average has no tricks. A strong heart will not cover for poor sleep. That is on purpose. A weak spot you can see is worth more than a tidy number that hides it.

Here is the fair side: anything you skipped is simply left out. You are never punished for a test you did not take. Measure two things or measure six. The score stays honest about what it saw.

Your range is your range. A six-year-old's heart rate is not judged against a grown-up's.

It watches change, not just one day. Bodies go up and down. BQ can tell a real change from normal wobble, so it only speaks up when something truly changed.

One number can be used twice. Your resting heart rate is a BQ number. When EQ checks how your body reacts to a strong feeling, it uses your own resting heart rate as the starting point.

You can measure with whatever you have. A chest strap. A photo of a lab report. A number you type in. An eye or ear check on the screen. This is the score that barely needs a screen at all. A nurse with a cuff. A coach with a stopwatch. A scale by the door.

Your health data stays yours. Body data is the most private data there is. You choose what is shown and what stays hidden.

One important note: BQ is a way to measure, not a doctor. It does not diagnose anything.

Where this comes from: CDC and NCHS growth charts, NHANES health data, and published lab ranges. All public. Nothing invented.
