Where the program works, and where it will not

Outposts are not placed at random. Each site is chosen for the species studied there, which is why the program concentrates on the coastal shelf and the world's accessible ranges. Read the map by a single species, or by the flagship leaders, or as the whole program at once. Rare, unique, ecologically sensitive concentrations, such as the deep-sea octopus garden, are avoided by design: protected, never worked.

Reading the map. Every pin is a site worth an operations bed, chosen for the species studied there. Toggle a track to isolate one species' geography, or switch to Flagship only to see just the Alpha-Array leaders (octopus, marine mammal, corvid, great ape). The full program assumes every operable site; a single track is the same plan read through one species. Dashed markers are avoidance zones: rare or sensitive sites the program protects and never works. Points shown are illustrative and grow over time; specific sites are added here, while the proposals stay general.
